Preparation of the Map of Land Deterioration Dhofar- A-Sharqiyah

The project is focusing on using the latest technology to monitor and control desertification periodically as a first step to select the most appropriate practical measures to combat it and get reference information on the national level. The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs coordinated with specialists at Sultan Qaboos University to implement this project as a scientific body characterized with scientific competencies in this area through the use of remote sensing techniques.
