In light of the joint cooperation between the Environment Agency and the Petroleum Development Oman Company, the annual meeting between the two parties was held today, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Omari, President of the Environment Agency, and Steve Femster, Director General of the Petroleum Development Oman, at the Office of the Environment Agency. This meeting comes in light of the memorandum of cooperation concluded between the two parties, which includes several aspects in various fields related to the field of continuous development, exchange of experiences and participation in environmental projects and other fields.
During the meeting, they were briefed on what was accomplished in 2021 (last year) between the Environment Authority and the Petroleum Development Oman through a presentation to the working group between the two parties, presenting the plan of the memorandum of cooperation for the next year 2022 AD, and discussing the issue of environmental laboratories regarding the problem of odors in Mina Al Fahal And reuse of sandpaper waste.
A discussion session was held between His Excellency the President of the Authority and the Director General of Petroleum Development Oman, in which the activation of the memorandum of cooperation between the two parties was discussed further to include other areas that benefit both parties.
